Each year, Oshkosh transforms into the world’s busiest airport during EAA AirVenture, drawing over 685,000 pilots, aviation enthusiasts, and industry leaders. For Southwest Airlines, this event offers a prime opportunity to connect with prospective pilots and their families.
As the creative lead for Amp, I designed an immersive brand experience that showcased Southwest's unique identity. Oversized suitcases emphasized the airline’s industry-leading baggage policies, while a cloud-inspired photo op allowed guests to literally step into the sky. A recreated Southwest check-in desk provided an intimate space for meaningful 1:1 conversations with prospective pilots, while a dynamic presentation area, retail store, play zone for children, and outdoor lounge rounded out the experience. The activation embodied Southwest's renowned hospitality, creating a memorable, engaging space that invited new pilots and their families to join the Southwest journey.
